Crewe & District Model Boat Club

The South Cheshire Militaire is the premier universal model show in the North West and Midlands held on the last Sunday of each February in Crewe, Cheshire.

This is an annual indoor exhibition covering modeling with a slant on Militaria. In addition to the war-gaming on display the show has developed into most sections of modeling and covers cars, boats and planes, with many model traders in attendance.

There is a large display area on the upper floor and radio controlled helicopters and trucks are operated during the day. In 2008 there was a Dr Who theme with actual Daleks working the hall and zapping everyone! In 2009 a revised layout was introduced and Star Wars Storm Troopers were in attendance keeping good order. We had another enjoyable day and answered many enquiries from visitors to our stand.

We exhibit our models on a static display and are in attendance all day to answer the many questions regarding the building and sailing of the models.
